Comments

Our goal was to avoid direct solar aspects to give us the best chance at finding dry powder. The alpine temp was -0.5 and winds were light form the SW. We manged to get some nice turns on a north east facing ski run. By the end of the day snow was moist at all elevations on solar aspects. We noted some fresh loose wet activity in the alpine on the drive out around 2:00. The area has received 10cm new in the last 24 hours. Foot pen and sled are still 25cm on sheltered aspects at treeline.
