Comments

In the meadow below Anniversary Glacier at 1500m we observed whumpfing.

On the ridge behind Keith’s Hut we did 2 compression tests, 1 extended column test and one rutschblock test in open trees.

NE aspect, 1600m, 30 degree slope

Each test resulted in a sudden planar 50cm down on top of the January facet layer. The overlain snow was fist and 4 finger hardness.
