Comments
3-5cm compact ice/crust layer on the surface in many areas at and below tree line. Underneath was all large facets with almost no support in most places. Ski pen was often knee deep once the crust gave way. Alpine and open areas were also quite wind affected with a few cm additional snow on top of the crust. Very slabby and difficult to move around.
