Comments
Skied up in the needle bowl today. Saw a small (2?) slab avalanche in steep terrain across on Yak peak on the way up. Skied south facing slopes 30 to 35 degrees with no issues, 20-30cm on a crust. ECT failed 30(15) & 60cm(25) down, but no propagation on 30 degrees south facing slope. Lots of fun to be had with some sunshine. Wind ripples visible on flatiron. Skiing out was real crusty in the trees. Picture is automatically upside down when I added, may just have to flip your phone... sorry.
