Comments

After crossing a heat and wind baked moraine we entered a terrain trap (duh) between Mount Murray and the moraine. Two hours previously we had completed two tests on the North aspect: hard shovel shear 80cm down on surface hoar and CT22 BRK 80cm down. A wumph was detected by one of three skiers who shouted and all three escaped to higher ground on the moraine. Luckily we were in a position to ski away from the SZ2 debris. Two crown lines were obvious at the apex of the slide.
