Comments

HS at TL in the pulpit area averaged 150cm, so things are filling in nicely. Through the river flats extending to the top of treeline, whumpfing and shooting cracks were observed every step of the way. Steep convex features up to 50m away were remotely failing from skiers. These storm slabs were low density, but touchy and on average 40-50cm deep and sliding easily on what appears to be the Dec13th surface hoar layer. Chose to ski in low angle terrain with minimal overhead and lots of surface anchors.
