Comments

We skied the NW face of Fissile on Saturday March 16th. Thirty cm of low density snow sitting on a hard crust made for fast fun skiing. Overcast all day with temps reaching +5C in the alpine and +10 around treeeline. No wind during the day but evidence of significant snow transport on most un-sheltered aspects. Shooting cracks were observed on North facing, wind affected, unsheltered aspects between the base of banana chute and psycho chute. We skied out via cowboy ridge and singing pass, a wet size 1 had released on a convexity along cowboy ridge earlier that day.
