Comments

Rode the Beaver Creek area. The day started out clear and sunny but clouded over mid afternoon. Recorded HS: 200cm @ Elev: 1350m temperature of -4 steady throughout the day. Notice lots of recent Avalanche activity on mostly east facing slopes. Snow quality wasn’t as good as expected due to warmer temperatures in the Pass 24hr’s before. We stayed away from steep terrain all day due to many red flags leading up to the day. With all the witnessed Avalanche activity by our crew our terrain choices and travel were adjusted accordingly. Stay safe. We rode in a smaller crew in Hasler on Sunday where I had a report and confirmed of a decent sled triggered Avalanche. The party involved escaped injury and had NO burials.
