Avalanche initiated immediately below the peak of 52.13961 N, -117.13123 W. What appears to be a slab running on an old snow surface sympathetically triggered a second avalanche which ran to ground. The debris ran quite far into very low angle terrain. Propagation on the sympathetic avalanche was impressive, with at least a 250 m crown, and the crowns of both avalanches were quite deep (estimated at 200 cm each). Avalanche debris was observed from about 1 km, making all measurements shown estimates. Three photos attached showing the start zones, track, and runout.
