Comments
We investigated the new storm snow in a wind-drifted area on a northwest facing 28 degree slope at 1600 m. The top 30 cm of very light new snow reacted easily in tests.
Light snowfall was consistent throughout the day, winds were calm at lower elevations, and alpine visibility was obscured.
