Log cabin - 20 cm of new snow on crust

We stayed away from:

• Alpine slopes
• Convex slopes
• Steep slopes

• Whumpfing or drum-like sounds or shooting cracks.

Snow pit observations from meadow above the cut line:

20 cm of new snow over a 10 cm pencil hard ice crust

As we moved towards the north started to get whumpfing and wind effected snow, the best skiing is definitely in the tree above the cut line.
