Clear skies in the alpine with valley cloud up to about 900 metres. Mostly calm with light wind at the top of the Dome (1400 metres). Widespread surface hoar above a thin breakable surface crust. Foot penetration was 30 cm at 1400 metres. Skied North bowl/ Powder 8's in dry snow that was well bonded to the old crust down about 60 cm.
