Snow and freezing rain for the northern ranges

  • A low pressure system will bring periods of heavy snow to the NW ranges, North Rockies and Cariboo ranges today and Monday.
  • Occasionally, flurries will fall across the SW ranges and parts of the southern interior ranges with light accumulation this morning.
  • The freezing levels will rise from 1500 metres this morning to 3000 metres Monday afternoon for the South Coast ranges.
  • Outflow winds for the Yukon - South Klondike today. A weather system moves into the area today bringing snow.
