Team Thunderstruck and Revy Snowmobile Club Donate Big!
A Big Thanks to Team Thunderstruck, Revelstoke Snowmobile Club and all of their sponsors.
This generous donation of $10,000 was made at the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club's new Welcome Centre on February 3, 2017. For the past six years, Team Thunderstruck and the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club hold a highly successful local fundraiser in the beginning of the season, where Team Thunderstruck unveils their new feature films. This past year, the fundraiser was held on December 2, 2016 at the Coast Hillcrest Resort Hotel. The event featured a large inventory of donated gear from the RSC's sponsors (see list below) and a DVD release of the latest Thunderstruck 15 movie production. Along with Avalanche Canada, funds raised to go other local organizations including the Food Bank and Revelstoke Search and Rescue.
Since 2010, the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club, their sponsors, Team Thunderstruck, volunteers and participants have donated $55,000 to Avalanche Canada. We are grateful for this tremendous support and celebrate their dedication and commitment to public avalanche safety.
