Natural deep slab observed today just below the summit of Mt MacPherson on East facing slope below the cornice. Size 2.5 viewed from far away, might be a 3... Notable because of the depth of the fracture, indicating a failure at the deeper persistent layers. Obviously wind loaded from the last storm but a reminder that deep persistent layers are still lurking...
