Comments
We dug a quick pit a 2200m on a north aspect.
Feb 22nd surface hoar was down 35cm & we got ECTP4.
The top 35cm was gaining slab properties with warming temps & wind.
We went to ski a mellower slope & triggered a 1.5 (in photo) when we got to the ridge. Witnessed numerous dry loose throughout the day & 1 natural 1.5 running on Feb 22nd layer. Winds were consistently moderate throughout the day with limited visibility.
