Comments
Saw a number of avalanche crowns on the south face of log cabin today connecting weak points in the snow pack like rocks and trees. With 12 hours of moderate wind last night we were surprised to see that there is still so much snow in the alpine. Likely due to warm temps, things don’t have that “stripped by the wind” look to them. Everywhere except tight trees and sheltered meadows were stout wind affect!
