Comments
Whiteout, cold day and low visibility.
Snow pk: 5- 15 cm of unaffected new snow over the rain crust at TL. 10- 40 cm of new snow redistribuated at ALP over the crust. No crust over 1500m on Fraser.
Hard conditions for skiers with the crust and the hard pack or low density snow in some sections. Very variable.
Warmer up top (inversion?), but too windy (as the wind swich from N to S) to drop it the S chute.
No ava. obs.
