HST @ TL was in the 15-20 cm range.

Ridgetop had widespread fresh cornices and associated windslabs in the immediate lees from the strong SW wind.

Ridgetop wind was initially moderate to strong from the SW but except for a few gusts, mostly died down in the early afternoon and the sun almost came out.

Our group controlled (cornice drops and ski cuts) many of the north facing chutes and SZ 2 avalanches running to valley bottom were obtained in each of them with propagation up to 30m.

One natural SZ 2 was heard on the north aspect of Ozone at 10:00 am.

The skiing down the SE aspect was quite good with the slopes facing slightly more east holding the best turns while the suncrust could be felt on the slightly more south facing slopes.
