Comments
Went for a quick tour around Sentinel Ridge/Vic Cole area. Snowpack 165-190cm. There has been some wind loading on lee features and quite a bit of snow has been moved around. Dug a quick pit at the report coordinates (photo from same). CTE7 10cm down, RP. Pre storm crust 65cm down with a 10cm layer of sugary snow before an even firmer ice crust at 75cm. This pre-storm weak layer did not produce results with the CT until we added a few “full beans” smacks after the regular 30, which produced a RP fracture.
Beautiful day with a freshly groomed track to the cabin by A.P. (Thanks!)
