Comments
Size 2-2.5 avalanche on the SE side of Wawa Ridge from approximately 2410 to 2370m. I originally rated this as a 1.5 from the bottom, but after re-evaluation of the potential from the top view I have adjusted my rating to help keep others safe. The weak persistent layer is active. Deep slab separated down to the ground. After the slide we turned around and skied down the backdoor. Snow was soft in the trees but fairly windblown on all aspects at the treeline and above.
