Comments
Knee to thigh deep in the needle trees today. Cold. Temps at the car were neg 15C at 9am. Neg 21C at 3pm. Moderate northerly wind but cold temps kept us BTL.
Amazing conditions. At 1600 to 1500m, 100 to 120 cm of powder on top of last week's crust.
No signs of instability while skiing.
Noticed a prominent crown amongst the rock slabs between the Zopkios ridge and Yak. Too foggy to get a pic or determine run length. Likely size 2 to 2.5. Expected in that area.
