Comments
Ascended and skied the SW face. Cold and windy in the am but very hot and sunny by noon.
First noticed small whumpfing and small crack at the base of the final face towards the summit. Seemed to settle on facets, snowpack there was thin <10cm.
Skinned up to the summit. Snow was warm but no signs of instability. Just below the summit, there was a very large settlement encompassing the entire summit area. Extended in all directions. Transitioned immediately and skied down. Did a ski cut at the first turn: No signs of instability on the ski out.
