Comments
Today we went to the notch below Mammoth on Mongolia Ridge. Our max elevation was 1820m. We were looking dry snow. We found dry snow on steep north facing slopes around 1800m. At 3pm the temperature was 9 degrees at 1670m and the snow surface was very wet on the flats and south-east to west aspects. There were fresh chunks of cornice about the size of lawn chairs that had fallen off steep slopes today and broke up.
