Comments
Skier triggered avalanche on West Hour Glass. Skied on Feb 8th and snow was stable and non reactive. Warming the following day (Feb 9th) caused the weak layer to become reactive to human triggering and resulting in a 2.5 slab avalanche on a wind loaded feature covered in sparse trees. Skier was carried for 70m until hung up on tree while avalanche continued to slide for an additional 30m.
