Comments

Short tour up to 1250m on NE facing slopes at Log Cabin. Snow has been untouched by the wind in the trees. However, there is significant recent wind effect at treeline and above. Weather was mild, overcast with mountain tops obscured, but clearing through the afternoon. Wind was light from the southeast.

We dug a profile at 1250m where HS was 240. 40cm of recently wind effected snow sits on a well settled midpack. Surface hoar was found down 40cm beneath recent wind effect. Early December melt freeze layer is down 145cm with some facets above.
