Comments

Last night’s storm delivered the goods! Snow remained light and fluffy from the parking lot upward throughout the day. Sun exposed slopes to the summit were wet and sun effected. Sun was replaced by cloud by 2pm.

No visual signs of avalanche activity but multiple very loud WHUMPFs were heard on ridges where wind loading had occurred the night prior. No shooting cracks accompanied the whumpfing. Steep slopes were avoided for this reason.

Snow depth

1.1m @1150m

50cm @700m (parking lot)

Forgot to probe summit but expect it was similar to our 1150m probe.
