Comments
First day of the season up at the Sea to Sky Gondola. Skied some low angle alpine slopes and some steeper trees and didn't notice anything other than surface sluffing. coverage below 1200m is still pretty thin and creek holes are open as high as 1500m. Did have one massive whoomph occur in a sheltered bowl around 1500m (pin on the map) with sympathetic releases off steep rocky cliffs around us. Our group, plus 3 other groups all ~100m away felt it. A bit spooky... At 1350m probed 1.7m down to Dec1 ice crust and then didn't touch ground with a 2.4m probe.
