Skiers slid 80m and rolled downwards with the avalanche, stopping about 1m from hitting a large pine tree. Skiers skis and body to knees were buried. Ski partners skied over to skier to dig out skis/legs and assisted skier out of terrain. Skiers skied out. Reported to Lake Louise Ski Patrol who reported it to Parks Canada. Skier went to an ER in Calgary by car for assessment. Whiplash and minor concussion.
