Hollyburn Trees Christmas Eve

Riding quality was:

We rode:

• Mellow slopes

We stayed away from:

• Convex slopes
• Steep slopes

The day was:

• Stormy

Avalanche conditions

• Slab avalanches today or yesterday.

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all down the slope,

Lots of storm slabs were sliding so we each said “k, nope”.

We transitioned at summit and skied down with care,

In the hopes that stability soon would be there.
