Comments
Witnessed from 400m away, 1 skier in group of 2 trigger storm slab in open pocket at tree line (size 1.5). After slide 1 both skiers continued down mountain, skier 1 ventured into another open pocket after a convex roll, skied to bottom, skier 2 followed over convex, triggered second bigger slide, partially burying skier 1. Triggered storm snow which stepped down and released deeper weaker layer, assuming January 16th. Too much hangfire above to investigate closer.
