Comments
No signs of instability during our Black Queen lap. Looking over at 5 Mile Basin it was very popular and saw a ton of traffic. No evidence of natural or skier triggered avalanches over their either.
North aspects well preserved powder. South facing aspects got plenty of sun, by 3PM ski turns on South aspects caused lots of pin wheels.
Steep slopes on the face of Ymir had natural sluffing but these sluffs did not trigger any slab releases. Also some sluffs on the south facing "Goats Slide" below the rocks (see picture).
