Comments
Tour into Morning Bowl area, with up to 10cm of new snow, with light NW winds, temperature steady -6c. We observed up to 30cm of recent new snow over the raincrust that was widespread throughout the area. Prev wind affect past 48hrs visible on windward N and NW aspects, with areas scoured to the crust. Observed a few natural slab avalanches to size 1.5 in steep, alpine, ESE aspects. 20-30cm deep x 30m wide x 100m long. Also observed several loose dry avalanches in steep terrain in alpine to size 1.Also had some reactivity to skier traffic with slabs 20-30cm deep x 10m wide x 20m long size 1 at treeline, on an E aspect in the new snow.
