Comments
Yesterday we rode Blue Lake. It was mostly cloudy and warm. We rode mostly at and below tree line. At 16:00 hrs we triggered a size 2 in a large opening in the trees at approx. 2000m on a north facing slope. It appeared to slide on a surface hoar layer roughly 60cm deep. One rider involved, but no injuries or burrials. This was the only recent avalanche activity we witnessed throughout the day.
