Comments
Found much more snow than forecasted (15-30cm depending on wind redistribution). Fracture lines observed underfoot while skinning on steep slopes. Multiple size 1 skier initiated avalanches on terrain greater than 35 degrees. Storm Slab released on previous storm cycle crust while skinning in steep open tree slope (crown 30 cm deep, 5 m wide, slid ~10m) with no skier involvement. No new natural activity witnessed. Fun skiing in powder (occasionally sinking down to crust) in more sheltered terrain. Light snow throughout day with minimal wind.
