Comments

Travelled between 1400m and 1850m east aspect. Snow line from the recent storm seemed to be around 1650m with 10 cm overnight. There was 30cm over the facets that was quite thick and heavy, skis were constantly submarining under it. On the way up there were numerous size 1-1.5 natural avalanches from the steep sides of the road. Some of them running surprisingly far. Looked to have happened during the storm. Stepping into uncompacted snow resulted in immediate whumpfing and shooting cracks. Every new piece of terrain would whumpf! Had a good look at east and south alpine terrain, no naturals but lots of wind loading happening
