No recent wind effect on this slope. Top 30cm was Fist hardness but gaining cohesion with sun exposure. Deep snowpack here (~300cm) with a couple thin sun crusts in upper snowpack. We had some minor cracking while uptracking.
On our way down with kicked off some sloughs that triggered this soft slab on the slope below, that we had intended to ski. Not entirely unexpected.
