Comments
We discussed the likelihood of this specific feature releasing, as it tends to do after each big storm. First rider traversed 20-30m below the toe of the convex feature. As he passed, the convexity released, as we suspected it would. No one was caught, the rider stayed on his line and managed to stay ahead of the slide. Avalanche ran to the very bottom of the face.
