Comments
About 20 cm of snow fell over the day. Southerly winds picked up midday moving snow into lee features. We found about 40 cm of loose dry above last week's crust. Sluffing was fast in small steep terrain features. We heard of storm slabs from ski cutting and remotely on northerly aspects where the snow sits on a surface hoar layer. We stayed to low angle terrain with this rapid loading.
