Comments
Went for a walk to see how the storm snow was setting up. 1850m asl, N aspect near ridge top, -9C, HS140. ECT sudden pop but no propagation after 4, 75cm down on facets on planar surface. Also had movement 35cm down after 13 on the interface between the storms this week. Bottom 65cm are faceted and fist density.
As we were putting things away, there was a widespread whump that seemed to roll around the valley. This was likely caused by the releases we saw on our way out. 35cm crowns on convex rolls above cliffs.
