Comments
Our group was bootpacking up one of the chromosomes. We noticed a little sluff and trickle down out of the steeps. We decided to proceed. We transitioned fairly high below one of the chokes. After one of our skiers had skied there was a decent loose dry avalanche this one had some mass. Thankfully we were safe off to the side.
There was no wind down low or in the couloir from what we could see but we are assuming there was more up top redistributing the little new snow!
