Ride Exit Gully today (28/3), one of two groups in the area. New snow was between 5 to up to 30cms deep in some wind loaded features. New snow appeared well bonded to crust and we observed no signs of instability except for very localized cracking at the ridge top where the wind had formed a denser slab (~8cm thick). Hand shear and aggressive ski cuts did not produce any results. Snow quality was great albeit a bit heavy and definitely wetter towards the bottom. Triangle trees soundtrack was fine and the cat track was skinnable from the Gondi.
