Comments
Today we saw several more "windslabs" that ripped wide -- they ain't your regular ol' windslab. We're thinking sugary facets from that cold dry first half of February. It was really windy today but with the sunny dry air most of the snow was going back into the air and building clouds rather than building wind slabs. We're choosing to avoid fat alpine slopes unless they're small. Facet problems don't heal in just a day or two.
