Comments
Lots of shooting cracks and whumpfing. We did a few hand shear tests which were all very reactive. Some released immediately after isolating the back and others released before isolating the back (see photos). The slab was approximately 35cm deep, over a hard crust.
The snow quality was great, powdery and cold but coverage is still thin.
We also saw some older small avalanches in hummingbird pass.
