Comments
Went for a walk from Raven Lodge to ridge south of Croteau Lake. Cold temps, next to no wind, and blue skies for the entire day.
There was some noticeable wind loading on the NW side of the ridge. We dug an informal pit on the SE aspect of the ridge compression 9 resulted in a failure of a storm layer 20cm deep, 16 resulted in another failure 40cm down.
Battleship, Lady, and Croteau Lake were all frozen with 40cm of powder, made travel across quick and smooth.
