Comments
We got a good look into the alpine today where we saw numerous large natural avalanches on North and Northeast aspects. Winds and warm snow associated with the storm came together to form form very large wind slabs and huge cornices. These cornices are growing in unexpected areas, even extending down into treeline. Views in the alpine were spectacular, but the best riding is still found in wind sheltered features and open trees.
