Comments
Dug a pit on W aspect in 40 degree terrain at 1300m. Column test was bomber. 56cm unconsolidated, medium density storm snow with no discernable layers. Bonded well to underlying crust. Sent the line and nothing moved, no signs of instability all afternoon.
Can skin and ski out to the parking lot as long as you don't mind a sick or two! Good coverage above 1000m.
