Snow conditions

Snow conditions were:
  • Powder
  • Wind affected
We stayed away from:
  • Convex slopes
Found reactive windslab 60-80 cm thick in slope tests on Dolomite shoulder.
18-25 cm new snow over 24 hours. Still very weak base with sudden collapse in tests. Made tenative turns down from profile site.
