Comments
Widesoread cycle began in Marriott Basin at 1210hrs when cornices started to drop initiating slab avalanches to size 3 on northerly asp. On example propagated to 200m wide and ran for 450m. Crown looked like down to mid-Feb layers (over 1m crown) or early March.
Cycle evident later from road on north faces in Garibaldi Park east of Mt. Currie.
Loose wet cycle to 1.5 evident on southerly asp in Marriott with perhaps 100 loose wet visible. Rollerballs to 1m diameter as well.
Temp at 1900m at 1300hrs was 9C and sun was powerful.
