The next system will start to bring moderate to heavy snow and extreme southerly winds to the Northwest ranges on Friday night. 

The incoming ridge of high pressure will start to clear out the northern interior regions on Friday. A few more centimetres of snow are expected over Monashees, Selkirks, and Purcells. 

Snow, at times heavy. Amount 20 to 30 cm. Blowing snow. Wind southerly moderate to strong.

From Friday night to Sunday, heavy snow and extreme southerly winds will slowly spread from northern BC to southern BC.

Periods of snow on Saturday becoming cloudy with a chance of snow on Sunday. Five centimetres of snow for Saturday. South strong winds becoming light Saturday afternoon. Light northerly winds on Sunday. Low -17°C Sunday night.
